Oh What , Oh What Am I Up To!!!!

This week I've been finishing up some projects.
I'm working on the blue quilt that goes on my great-grandma's sewing machine.

I'm binding a quilt. Will show you the front later!!:):)
I also cut out a queen size quilt. I'm getting ready to piece together. And I've been CLEANING!!!! Remember my Momma is coming. They are almost here. I'm
sooo excited.!!!!! I wanted to tell you a funny thing that happened with my darling husband this week. So, he comes into my art room, sits down to talk to me while I'm sewing , right? He looks over and sees a hole in my fabric stash.
Granted it's not a big hole , but it is a hole none the less. :):) He says, "Hey, Honey you are using up your fabric I'm so proud of you.!!" He kisses me and leaves. OK, all you fabric hounds out there know what I thought at that moment. HE is sooo delusional if he thinks that hole won't be filled up within the week.!!!!!!!  Can I get an AMEN!!!  (lol)   Shhhh!!! We will let him keep thinking he is in dreamland. :):) (and that his wife doesn't have a fabric problem) That's my week. Hope you all are having a super one!!!!!

First, I just want to say that I really admire anyone who can sew. My mother tried to teach me but I just cried. Quilters are my favorite artists. I must post a pic of my husbands grandmother's quilt on my blog. She made it over 100 years ago when she was ten. It is called "Texas Star". I display it every Christmas. Thanks for visiting me.

Your quilts are amazing Sandra, I have made some baby quilts and lap quits but haven't made anything bigger, I don't know how you wrestle those large ones around your machine I think it must take plenty of table space. They are just wonderful, you blow me away with your skill! Yep I have a fabric stash too and a crafting/paper stash as well. We could do worse things after all I don't have a 100 pair of shoes that hurt my feet! Hugs and Love ya, Marilou

Hee hee! Love seeing all your fabric and reading your little story. I tried and tried not to be a "fabric collector" but before I knew it, well... it was just too late! I love seeing your projects and all that you do. You are so talented!

Hello to Zoey and Daisy!
Hugs,
Holly

Very funny! In my house that would just mean I have space on the shelf to move some more fabric from the boxes under the bed...

Great blue and white quilt in the first photo!

Love your "hole in the stash story". I'm glad your Mom is coming to visit. I think when someone comes to visit we stress probably way more than we need to over our house. She will just love those ladders full of quilts that you've made. Have a nice visit!
