You are NOT going to believe what I did !?!!

Does this picture give you a clue???? Oh yeah!! I did it!! I sewed through my finger.  OOWWW!!!! ( and that is putting it nicely :):)  I was working away on my quilties and BAMMM!!

I yelled, my husband and daughter came running in my room, my head is spinning, and I decide to take a little nap on the sewing room floor. When my husband looked at it, he said, "You want the good news or the bad news first??" Good news, the needle went into the side of my figure (no bone). Bad news, the needle broke and is in my finger. AARRGGGG!!  So, after I gained the blood back in my head. Out came the broken needle. (and that is ALL I have to say about that :o)  So, learn from me LADIES---- DON'T SEW THROUGH YOUR FINGER! Hope your day is way better than mine.

Oh! ¿esto es lo que llamas técnica mixta? ¿Un poco de hilo, un poco de tela y un poco de "carne"?...
Un beso y deseo que se te cure pronto

Sandie,
Hate to admit it but I've done that too! I didn't get the needle to break in my finger but it did go in deeper than I would have wanted. Hope you are feeling better! I had a headache all weekend but am feeling much better. We can't get sick, we need time to sew and quilt!
Love, Rosemary

Ouch!!! I can't believe it! And have the needle break off - oh!!! I think I need to lay on the floor too. I could never believe people were able to do that until I did it myself. It hit my nail - and slid - cutting my finger. I do feel for you. (((Hugs)))

Ouch! Can't say I've done it YET. I have hit the edge of my finger a few times with the hoping foot of my big machine which scared the ---- out of me. Hope you recover quickly and are back at your quilties soon. Thanks for stopping by my hoppy quilt!
