Christmas Craft Season Already?!?

Okay, where has the year gone?? One minute I'm putting together an Easter basket for my daughter. Then out of nowhere I'm planning Christmas crafts!!!! Making Christmas presents, and Christmas tree shopping.  I have to decorate early this year, one of our sons is coming home early for Christmas. His work schedule will not let him loose on Christmas. Our other son is a Marine, and is currently stationed in Afghanistan. (pray for him)  He will not be home for Christmas :(:(     So, out everything comes, and up go the decorations. I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving yet !!  But, we are giving THANKS that our one son is safe and that the other gets to come home at all.. :)....... This is what is going on in my household. Hope all is well with everyone!!

Hello Sandra,
I know! Time surely has flown, I am looking forward to Christmas - it is so much fun to decorate and to create! My son-in-law is in Afghanistan - they've only been married a year and it will be hard to be separated this Christmas - we keep all our soldiers in our prayers! Want them home safe! So glad I visited, I have enjoyed strolling through your blog,

Mmmm...it's all make believe that we lavish attention on Christmas for the kids, isn't it? I'm barely holding myself back from putting out all the decorations for another week or so.

Hi Sandie,
I would also like to know where this year has gone. They seem to go faster every year! I know too well the holidays can be bittersweet without all of your loved ones around. I will definitely keep your Marine in my thoughts.
Please come by for a visit. I have something for you.

Oh dear Sandie, I am thrilled that your Christmas will come early for a number of reasons...your children are so lucky to have a mom like you that has such a love of life and family...they are very fortunate. Will send positive thoughts for your special Marine who obviously has inherited your love of family and friends in his own dedication to his country...enjoy all the hugs, both physical and online!
