Fresh Sewing Day!!

I am keeping up with my Cotton Club BOM!! Here are the next blocks made. This is a very traditional quilt. Sooo, not my color scheme of late.  But, every once in a while the traditional bug can still bite me!! I really love this quilt. It has (54) 4.5 inch blocks in it.

I am a proud member of the Block Swap Adventure group. Here is my block for Karen. I loved this block so much I made an extra for myself. :O)

I have been surfing Pinterest and have fallen in love with all the fabric art books I have been seeing. So, I set out to make my first one. Here is my cover.

Here is my first page spread in my fabric book.

I am having a great time making this book. I just may have become addicted to another craft :):)

I hope you like all the things I have been working on this month. I am hooking up with Lily and her Fresh Sewing Day. Be sure to check out all the others who are showing off their art too.

Please have a wonderful day!!!

I was really surprised to see those traditional blocks on your blog. So not was I was expecting. But I agree, I need some of those muddled colors in my life too. I adore your fabric book. It looks like it was a lot of fun to make.

That's a lovely block. And I love all those old fashioned shades. Love the bright modern stuff too, but I keep being drawn back to traditional blocks. Very nice!
