Block Exchange With A Friend!!

My very good blog friend Lesley and I decided to do a quilt that is made by both of us. I saw the idea over on Bonnie Hunters blog....I thought, who could I do this with...and Lesley came to mind. When I asked her,... she was all in!! Yeah!! So...we are making 10 baskets a month...and keeping 5 for ourselves and mailing the other 5 to each other. When we are done we will have equal amounts of blocks made by both of us. We will then put our quilts together..She will have one and so will I. They will become treasures of friendship. I am very glad Lesley said .."Yes". Thanks Lesley!! Above is my first batch. (I made 2 of every block)

Here is Lesley's first batch.

....and all the blocks together.... Lesley and I have talked, and we both want a big quilt...so I think we will do 100 blocks in each quilt...which is really 200 blocks total.   We will be doing this for a while...but we have no timeline..just make blocks for however long it takes :):)  These blocks finish at 4 inches. They will make an awesome scrap quilt when we are done!!

Again...I am very glad Lesley said yes!!

I have met the coolest people in blog land!

On a different note...I got a new baby!!....no, not a real one or another puppy...

I love these all metal toy sewing machines. When I come across one...my butter starts to melt!!! LOL!!

Speaking of babies.....

Sweet Bella is growing fast...I did a new post on her. Come check it out..HERE.

Happy sewing to ALL!!!!
