My friend Lesley from Canada and I have been trading 4 1/2 inch basket blocks for a while now. I just sent her my newest set..and got hers in the mail today:):) I decided to lay them all out to see how many we have traded now.....
We have 50 blocks done so far:):) We both make 10 baskets every time...then we mail 5 and keep 5. She is more traditional...while I am "TRYING" to keep mine as calm as I can :):) The 2 styles together will make a wonderful quilt when we finish:):)
This is Lesley's newest set to me. As usually I love them....Lesley:):)
I think we originally said we would keep doing it until we reached 100 blocks....We will see if we can hold out that long :):)
Thanks for stopping in.....See.... I still quilt!!! :):) LOL!!!
Much love- Sandie

Love them all! Especially seeing them in a whole big bunch...I definitely see the makings of some great quilts! You have certainly inspired me to continue making little baskets. Yes, let's aim for fifty more!

Gotta love a basket block and yours are looking fabulous. Great range of colours, you can't go wrong.
How fun, what a great idea.
I have been busy sewing flying geese. It's a good thing I am obsessed with the fabric I am using other wise I would be bored and onto the next project. My family says I have AADD!
It will be a lovely quilt and so special because of the sharing.

Well I'm impressed - and what an awesome quilt that will be when you get it done! Beautiful work!
What fun doing block for each other! And they are all so pretty!
What a beautiful quilt you will have. Nice.
What a lovely idea Sandra. When I first looked at the squares (before enlarging the picture) it looked like you were doing something with puppy prints!
I love the baskets.
Hugs and blessings
