Bonjour! Paris Trip (part 2)

We are having a trip of a lifetime that is for sure... Here are some pictures for you all to see what we are up to..... Thanks for all your wonderful comments .

We went to a very fancy mall... Galeries  Ladayette. There was a stained glass dome in the center of it.

The mall had a rooftop... Where we could see the whole city.

When did the Eiffel Tower get so small? ... Giggle !!!

Our first French breakfast.... Yummy!

On my list of things to do was go to a cemetery was at the top. I collect online photos of the stone angels. I print them out and add them to my mixedmedia art. Well, I wanted pictures that I took for myself. My sister was like "WHAT?" Needless to say she was not a happy camper. We went to the largest cemetery they have there. Spent 3 hours of me taking pictures.

Then came the boat ride down the "Siene" river.

Then we went on an Eiffel Tower tour... Up we go...

On top of the world... Or just the Eiffel Tower ... Lol!!!

.... And the last photo... We went back later that night to see the tower lit up at night. It stays lit like this all night.. Then at the first five minutes of the hour it sparkles... It was fantastic to watch.

Thanks for following along... I'm in Florida now... I fly home to Arizona and my family in the morning.

Au revoir... Until next  time.

So amazingly beautiful Sandie! The Eiffel tower looks so pretty at night. I can't wait to see more of your travels. I love that you took photos of statues in the cemetery. Can I use some of your photos in my art journals? I would love to add the angel statues. So glad you arrived safely.

I love seeing pictures of the two of you. Isn't the Eiffel Tower so cool? and all those buildings, and the Opera House. Well, you know...just all of Paris. Wow, what a bedroom picture!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip! The Eiffel is amazing, yes? My ride down the Siene ended with a brawl between one of the (male) passengers and the (female) captian. Harbor police came & took them away!!!

Welcome back to the continent. Can't wait to see some of your art from the trip. - Gale

Ooh la la. Paris has so much to see and do. I wanted to spend hours at the museum with the impressionists but probably only spent a half a day. So much to see and not a lot of time.
