Working on a UFO..."Crumb" Quilt

Hello... My Lovely, Awesome, Blog-land friends....I've gotten back into quilting...as you saw.... I finished my the top to my Golden Harvest...and sent it off with the longarmer. So, I decided I would pull out a quilt I started in 2010, and finished it up. It is a "crumb" quilt ...which is a technique  I learned from Bonnie Hunter. You can find it on her website under Free Quilt Patterns.

Am also hooking this post up to Lily's Quilts for the June Fresh Sewing Day.

I needed to make 168 ...4 inch blocks to make enough for what I had in mind:) Thankfully I had over 100 already made from years ago!!
Testing out red solid as a sashing...and decided I liked it.

Lots of little scraps...that is for sure!!!!

Got the red sewn on this far...now I need to add corner stones and sew the rest of sashing on!!!
Loving the blue Kaffe Fassett corner stones!!

Yumminess!!!! Now onto borders!!

While I was working on the Crumb quilt...I ran some Cheddar Bow ties through my machine. So by the time I was done putting my red sashing on with all the corner stones...I made 44 bow ties!! YEAH!!! .....and that is a Bonnie Hunter tip as well.

Thanks for stopping by...

Oh Sandra Kaye, Your quilt is going to be wonderful, I love all the little bits of fabric. That was a lot of work, putting those squares together. You are one very productive young lady :)
