New English Paper Piecing Project

I have been scratching my head for a project that I could do easily from my
" camp out " on my couch for the next 3 months... and decided to make an English paper Piecing project. Most of these kind of quilts are Hexagons (hexies). But I wanted to do something different. And I came across this plus pattern...YES!!! I like that!!! Now what fabric to use??? I have been collecting Liberty of London fabric for awhile...and because it is so expensive...I have been just hoarding it. But I thought this would be a great project for this fabric. (and no more guilt for hoarding)

Four done....yeah!!!

I found this little tin box awhile ago. Loved it..had to have it. But I had no idea what to do with it. When I remembered it...I pulled it out to see if it would be a good little box to hold this project in...Yes!!! It sits on the couch with me where I am camped out.
Just finished 6 more blocks!!! Yeah!! Totally loving these little blocks. I will make 100 to see if that will big enough to make a quilt. If not...then I will make more. This is one of those slow and steady kinda projects...No end goal date in mind at all. (daisy is watching the process...lol!!! it's so slow it puts her to sleep)

Thanks for stopping by....

Beautiful! I like that so much more than hexies!

Very manageable couch project. The kind of pattern that may stump viewers when it's done and they say, "now how did she put that together?" Pretty fabrics.

Oh I saw her little nose right there and Bella's (?) too. How cute is that? I love when my doggies sit with me. Totally love the fabrics and your project. You have so many done already! You are really going to town on it.

I'm not into paper piecing but those fabric colours are so lush - no wonder you are prepared to make more, and more, and..... bet it looks wonderful when you are finished. 3 months should be enough time I think haha :)

Yes I like it too! Could you give us the pattern sizes on your blog? I assume you hand sew all 4 pieces together in the middle?
